'Climate Crisis' Series Starts at First Parish, 'Side Show' Opens at Emerson Umbrella

1. "The Climate Crisis: Why Only a Movement Can Save Us": Craig Altemose, executive director of the Better Future Project, will kick-off a new speaker series focusing on solutions to the climate crisis at 7:30 p.m. this Friday, Oct. 25, at First Parish in Concord. Get the details here. 

2. Today in Public Meetings: According to the town website, the only public meeting posted for Oct. 25 is the Concord Area Special Education Collaborative Board of Directors at 12:30 p.m.

4. Emerson Umbrella Presents 'Side Show': At 8 p.m. this Friday, Oct. 25, Emerson Umbrella will debut its production of the rarely staged Broadway musical, SIDE SHOW, an orchestra-backed musical that follows the lives of co-joined twins Violet and Daisy Hilton on their meteoric rise to fame during the Depression backdrop of the 1930s. Get the details here.
