Crucolo Day Comes to Town, Concord Art's Holiday Originals

What you need to see, do and know on Dec. in Concord.

1. Crucolo DayThe fourth annual Crucolo Day, when a 400-pound wheel of formaggio Crucolo parades into town, will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5. Peter Lovis and his crew at the Concord Cheese Shop promise the event will be better than ever. Get the details here. 

2. Today in Public Meetings: According to the town website, public meetings posted for Dec. 5 include the Concord Housing Authority at 8 a.m., the Battle Road Scenic Byway Committee at 3 p.m., the Middle School Advisory Committee at 6:15 p.m., the Historic Districts Commission at 7 p.m., the Natural Resources Commission at 7 p.m. and the Millbrook Tarry Task Force at 7 p.m.

4. Concord Art's Holiday Originals Exhibition and SalesThe Concord Art Association's holiday sale begins at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, offering unique gifts including jewelry, wearable art and ceramics, paintings, photography and more. The sale runs through Dec. 20. Get the details here

5. Chance of Showers Today: There's a chance of rain today, with a high of 49, according to the National Weather Service, which predicts a warm night with rain likely and a high of 44.
