Dream Catchers, Golf Tournaments, Meetings and More

1. Rotary Club Golf Tournament: The Rotary Club of Concord's annual Thomas R. Huckins Memorial Golf Tournament  is at 1 p.m. next Monday, Aug. 19 at Concord Country Club. 2. Today in Public Meetings: According to the town website, public meetings posted for today include the Municipal Light Board at 8 a.m., the Natural Resources Commission at 7 p.m. and the Public Works Commission at 7:15 p.m.

4. Moms Rock: Sun Catchers: At 10 a.m. this morning over at the Discovery Museums in Acton, they're holding a Discovery Classroom in which participants can use common and natural materials to create sun catchers inspired by the ways moms-- and grandmothers, sisters, aunts and others--rock. 

5. Sunny Day, Clear Night: Patchy fog early should lift to reveal a mostly sunny day with a high of 75, according to the National Weather Service, which predicts a clear evening and a low of 51.
