Music Class for Kids, Youth in Philanthropy and More

We've got five things you need to see, do and know on Sept. 24 in Concord.

1. Let's Make Music Sampler Class: Popular music educator Ronni Olitsky will drop by Barefoot Books at 10 a.m. for a sampler class of the shop's multi-age program, designed to enhance musical and social 
experiences for young children and their adult partner. Get the details here

Today in Public Meetings: According to the town website, public meetings posted for today include the  Conservation Restriction Stewardship Committee at 1 p.m., the Personnel Board at 5 p.m., the Concord Public Schools and Concord-Carlisle Regional school committees at 6 p.m., the Millbrook Tarry Task Force at 6:30 p.m., the Planning Board at 7 p.m., the West Concord Advisory Committee at 7:30 p.m., the Recreation Commission at 7:30 p.m., and the Millbrook Tarry Task Force / Planning Board at 7:30 p.m.

3. Youth in Philanthropy: High school students looking to develop the knowledge and skills to become a community leader can apply today for the Youth in Philanthropy program. Get the details here
