Summer Workshops, Meetings and a Story You Shouldn't Miss
We've got five things you need to see, do and know on Aug. 13 in Concord.
1. Fun Summer Workshops: Today's summer workshops at Dabblers Hobby Shop and Cafe in West Concord include a two-day workshop on framed mosaic suncatchers from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and basket weaving from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
2. Today in Public Meetings: According to the town website, public meetings posted for today include the Millbrook Tarry Task Force at 7 p.m. and the 2229 Main Street Oversight Committee at 7:30 p.m.
3. ICYMI: In case you missed it yesterday, we shared the story of Concord residents Kristin and Jim Canty's plans to open a farm-to-table restaurant in the former home of the West Concord Supermarket. If you haven't yet, definitely check it out.
