Alison N. LaBarge of Maynard was appointed as Grand Chaplain, Erica R. Bowe of Bolton was appointed as Grand Outer Observer, and Katherine E. LaBarge of Maynard was appointed as Grand Christian Flag Bearer.  All three Grand Officers are Past Worthy Advisors of Concord Assembly No. 53.  Nicole Conill of West Townsend, who was recently installed as the current Worthy Advisor of Concord Assembly No. 53, was appointed as Grand Representative to Maryland and Brazil. The girls were installed in their new offices during the Open Installation of Officers of the Grand Assembly of Massachusetts (www.massiorg.net) held at Plymouth Memorial Hall in Plymouth, MA on Saturday, June 28.

In addition, Erica Bowe of Bolton received an award for visiting more than 60 meetings of other Assemblies in 2013, Ashlee Young of Woburn received a campership to attend the Rainbow Camp of Massachusetts in Hanson this summer, and Nicole Conill of West Townsend won the Worthy Ritualist level of the ritual competition.

“The Advisory Board and I are very proud of all of these girls,” said Mrs. Deborah A. Kenny, Mother Advisor.  “They have all worked hard, and these awards reflect their achievements this year.  Being appointed as a Grand Officer or Grand Representative at the state level recognizes their leadership abilities and will give them the opportunity to travel, meet new people, and form friendships with girls from other Assemblies across the state and in other states and countries.”
