Concord Orchestra Benefit Concert

The Concord Orchestra Benefit Concert will be held on Sunday, September 21 at 2:00 p.m. with refreshments at 1:30 p.m.  Alan Yost will conduct members and friends of the Concord Orchestra in Gian Carlo Menotti’s radio opera The Old Maid and the Thief.  The opera will be preceded by a prelude of popular music of the 1930’s and 1940’s performed by the cast. The stellar vocalists are Ray Bauwens, Robin Farnsley, Cindy Vredeveld, and Pamela Wolfe.

The concert will be at the Performing Arts Center at 51 Walden in Concord.  Tickets are $30 for adults and $10 for student, or become an orchestra benefactor for $50.  Benefactors are acknowledged in the program and receive preferred seating.  All proceeds support the operating expenses of the Concord Orchestra.
