Concord Women's Chorus Benefit Offers Everything From Day in Hollywood to One-of-a-kind Jewelry

Itching to have lunch with Ted Danson on the set of “CSI” or to unwind for a week in the Cayman Islands? A special fund-raising event hosted by the Concord Women’s Chorus provides a chance to bid on these experiences, to enjoy world-class Irish music, to get a jump on holiday shopping, and to support a great cause.

"A Celtic Journey: An Evening of Irish Songs and Stories," features Ciarán Nagle of The Three Irish Tenors and Riverdance, fiddle player Tara Novak, and pianist Scott Nicholas on Saturday, November 2, at 7 p.m. at the Chelmsford Center for the Arts, 1 North Road, Chelmsford. The evening begins with a “meet the artists” wine and beer reception with a cash bar, along with an opportunity to do some early holiday shopping during silent and live auctions. Tickets are $35 and are available through the CWC website, www.concordwomenschorus.org. Proceeds will benefit CWC's special programs, including educational and community outreach.

Now in the midst of its fifty-fourth season, the Concord Women’s Chorus, under the direction of Jane Ring Frank, is composed of sixty singers from Concord, Massachusetts, and twenty-one surrounding communities. The ensemble has a special mission of keeping music written for women’s voices alive on the concert stage.
