OBITUARY - Margaret Anne Fries, Concord Resident

Margaret Anne Fries age 60 of Concord passed away peacefully on Friday, August 23rd 2013 at the Miriam Boyd Parlin Residence in Wayland.  She was the loving daughter of John E.  and Anne (Kellogg) Fries of Acton.

Born in Meadville, PA on June 12, 1953 she attended Daniel Hand High School in Madison, CT, and later graduated from Plymouth State University earning a degree in Early Childhood Education.

She settled in Concord where she was a devoted and loving nanny for several local families.  She also provided childcare during weekly worship services at the Trinitarian Congregational Church.  Her love and affection for children were admired and respected by all who knew her.

During her spare time she enjoyed reading, going to the beach, spending time with family and friends and many church activities.

Besides her parents she is survived by her brothers, John E. Fries, III of Madison, CT, David Fries and wife Ellen of Bow, NH, Thomas Fries and wife Elizabeth of Winchester and her sister Janet Fries Chinitz and husband Jonathan of Acton.  She is also survived by seven nieces, five nephews, and one grandnephew.

Memorial Services Friday, Aug. 30 at 4:00 pm in the Trinitarian Congregational Church, 54 Walden Street, Concord. A reception will follow.  Interment will be private.
