OBITUARY- Virginia P. Farren

Virginia P. (Kennedy) Farren, 80, a fifty-year resident of Concord, died Monday April 14, 2014 at Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington. She was the beloved wife for 58 years of Thomas J. Farren.

Born in Boston on February 6, 1934 she was the daughter of the late Harold and Virginia (Everett) Kennedy. She attended Bishop Chevrus Grammar School and graduated from Bishop Chevrus High School in 1953.

In addition to her husband, Thomas, she is survived by 8 children, Kathleen, Michael, Carole, Thomas, Mary, Rita, Neil and Eileen, 19 grandchildren, and 1 great granddaughter. She was also the sister of the late Joseph Kennedy and Robert Kennedy.

Funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd from the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center at 9 am followed by a funeral Mass in Holy Family Parish at St. Bernard’s Church, Monument Square, Concord Center at 10 am.

Burial will be in St. Bernard’s Cemetery, Concord.

Visiting hours at the Dee Funeral Home will be held on Monday, April 21st from 4 to 7 PM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105.

Arrangements are under the care of Susan M. Dee and Charles W. Dee, Jr., DEE FUNERAL HOME OF CONCORD.
