Post Office food drive in Concord goes to Open Table

This Saturday, May 10, is the annual Postal Workers Food Drive. All the food collected in Concord by our Postal Workers is delivered to the Open Table Pantry at 105 Everett St. It’s a big event for Open Table.  This is when we receive a lot of the supplies we will use this spring and summer when our inventory is at it’s lowest.

Our guests really appreciate, and in many cases need the following: You can call it the Pantry wish list......

Breakfast cereal
Canned fruit
Coffee (including instant) and tea
Cooking oil (smallish bottles, not gallons)
Toilet paper
Feminine hygiene products
Laundry detergent
Baked beans

Because our storage space is limited, we so appreciate your being able to focus this food drive on items that are in great demand.  We will use everything that we receive, but hope you can help us focus this town wide food drive to collect those items most useful to our guests.

Please be careful to check expiration dates.   We do not use expired items and have to throw them out.

My home phone is 978-369-2766. Feel free to call me if you have questions. And thank you for thinking of Open Table.
