5 Things: An Artist Reception

1. Meet Mandala Artist Susan Phillips: At 6:30 p.m. this evening, there's an artist reception at Dabblers in West Concord, where folks can drop by to meet mandala artist Susan Phillips and check out her new exhibit. 

2. Today in Public Meetings: According to the town website, public meetings posted for today include the Board of Assessors at 7 p.m. and the Agricultural Committee at 7:30 p.m. 

3. Drop-In Storytime: At 10 a.m., children age 3 years and up can drop by the Concord Free Public Library for stories, puppet tales, songs and fun.

5. Heat Wave Continues: Looks like another warm one, with a daytime high of 94 and a slight chance of thunderstorms, according to the National Weather Service, which predicts an overnight low of 70.
