5 Things: Fun with Clay, a Concert on the Lawn

1. Kids Clay Intro Workshop: At 3 p.m. this afternoon, Barefoot Books is hosting a clay workshop to introduce kids to working with clay. This week's subject is coiling, and kids will be able to leave the piece for firing and come back and paint it. Get more info here. 

2. Today in Public Meetings: According to the town website, public meetings posted for today include the Municipal Light Board at 8 a.m., the Tax Relief Committee at 8:30 a.m., the Natural Resources Commission at 7 p.m. and the Millbrook Tarry Task Force at 7 p.m.

3. Los Sugar Kings Perform: At 7 p.m. tonight, Cuban ensemble Los Sugar Kings will give a concert on the front lawn of  the Concord Free Public Library in the first performance in this year's Music on the Lawn series.
