CC Community Chest Searching for New Leader

Find out what the organization is looking for in its next executive director.

Announcing the search for a new executive director earlier this week, the Concord-Carlisle Community Chest said it’s looking for someone to lead the growth and development of the organization that supports local agencies that meet community needs.

The new executive director will replace Astrid Williams, the outgoing director who has led the Community Chest for more than 15 years, according to a press release.

“Astrid has been the heart and soul of the Community Chest, and a strong and effective advocate for those in our community who need extra support,” said Amanda Young Hickman, the CCCC board president, in a press release. “Thanks to her passion and leadership, the Community Chest has been able to play an essential role in our community--supporting so many agencies that do real good, every day--to make Concord and Carlisle a better place to live for our neighbors in need. We will miss her greatly, but also look forward to the next chapter in our 65-year history.”
