Concord Armory Named New National Guard Museum

Another slice of history comes to Concord.

The Concord Armory on Everett Street is the new home of the National Guard Museum and Archives, according to a report on Boston.com.

The museum, which preserves military artifacts and documents, has come to Concord from Worcester and is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., according to the report.

The move began in June, and it should take about a year for the “final organization” of the museum, the Globe reported.
