Image Gallery: Pauline Maier Receives 2011 Ruth Ratner Miller Award

Friends of the Concord Free Public Library award annual honor to M.I.T. professor for excellence in American History.

On Saturday, Oct. 22, the presented Pauline Maier, William R. Kenan, Jr. Professor of American History at M.I.T. with the 2011 Ruth Ratner Miller Memorial Award for Excellence in American History.

Maier is the author of such title as "From Resistance to Revolution: Colonial Radicals and The Development of American Opposition to Britain, 1765-1776," "The Old Revolutionaries: Political Lives in the Age of Samuel Adams," "American Scripture," and "In Ratification: The People Debate the Constitution, 1787-1788."
