T-Storms Roll Over Concord

More thunderstorms were in the forecast for Wednesday.

Powerful thunderstorms barreled through Concord Tuesday—and more were in the forecast for Wednesday.

The storm drenched town but caused little damage. There were no reports of power outages Tuesday afternoon. Minor outages were reported in neighboring communities like Lexington and Acton.

Below is the forecast for the rest of the week:

  • Tuesday night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 11pm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Patchy fog after 8pm. Low around 70. South wind 8 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
  • Wednesday: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm, mainly before 5pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 5pm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Patchy fog before 2pm. High near 77. Southwest wind around 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.
  • Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 82. Northwest wind 3 to 8 mph.
  • Friday: Sunny, with a high near 81.
