When Does the Winter Parking Ban Start in Concord?

When wintry weather rolls around, many towns restrict or ban overnight on-street parking as a safety precaution.

When wintry weather rolls around, many New England towns restrict or ban overnight on-street parking as a safety precaution, and as a means to allow emergency vehicles and plows more room to navigate streets that can become slick under the ice and snow.

Winter hasn't officially arrived here in Concord, but the town's seasonal ban on overnight parking has already taken effect.

Says the Concord Police Department

For safer streets and to ensure 24-7 access for emergency vehicles a Winter Parking Ban is in effect from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m., starting Nov. 1 to April 1. There is also no overnight parking in municipal parking lots.
