Winter Storm Warning in Effect for Concord
Most areas can expect 8 to 14 inches of snow and whiteout conditions.

The National Weather Service has upgraded the winter storm watch to a winter storm warning.
The affected area includes Concord.
The warning is from Thursday at 4 a.m. until Friday at 10 a.m.
Predicted snow accumulations have increased to 8 to 14 inches.
A winter storm warning is issued when an average of 6 or more inches of snow is expected in a 12-hour period, or 8 or more inches in a 24-hour period.
Numerous schools in Massachusetts, including here in Concord, have already canceled school for Thursday.
