Balkan Music Night

The 27th annual extravaganza of Balkan Music is being held in Concord, Massachusetts on St. Patrick's Day (of course!), March 17.

The evening begins with a concert at 7:00pm, followed by a dance party at 9:30.  There are two rooms of music happening simultaneously from 9:30pm until 2:30am!  Downstairs in the larger hall one can dance wildly to a variety of bands, or sit  and enjoy the music and the chaos.  The "kefana" upstairs is a smaller venue, designed for sitting and listening in a much more intimate atmosphere.

Tickets are available for the entire evening's activities (both concert and the dance/kefana portions) or just the dance/kefana segment of the evening.  We are sorry, but there is no concert-only ticket option.

Snacks and drinks will be served throughout the evening, many donated by local restaurants, grocery stores and purveyors of fine noshes.  The Folk Arts Center brings part of its Music Shop - hundreds of Balkan Music CDs, as well as those of the performers - a perfect opportunity to take home some of the music you enjoyed during the evening!

The evening is a whirlwind of sights, sounds and unflagging energy!  We hope you can join us.  Advance purchase of tickets is highly recommended.
