Debut Concert - Xonor Trio, FREE!

On their own, the members of The Xonor Trio have won prestigious competitions, studied with leading classical performers and played with a host of orchestras and ensembles. Together, they will make their local debut at West Concord Union Church (location 1317 Main St.), at 1pm on Thursday April 12.

The Concord Conservatory of Music is presenting the performance, as part of the CCM Faculty Concert Series, which is funded in part by a grant from the Concord Cultural Council.  The concert is free and open to the public.

The CCM is proud to host the trio as it includes two CCM faculty members: violinist Yumi Okada and pianist Rasa Vitkauskaite. Cellist Ignacy Grzelazka rounds out the group.  The trio’s repertoire is considerable and on Thursday, they will play works by a diverse group of artists, ranging from Joseph Haydn and Robert Schumann to 20th Century American composer Aaron Copland and Argentine tango master Astor Piazzolla.  To learn more about the Concord Conservatory of Music you can visit www.ConcordConservatory.org, or call 978-369-0010.  For more information on the Xonor Trio and recordings visit http://xonor.info.
