Bondir Concord: It's Coming

The writing's on the wall—or, in this case, the windows—for chef Jason Bond's forthcoming Concord eatery.

Pictures are in the windows. The twitter handle is set. All that’s left is for the restaurant to deliver on its promise.

Jason Bond, the noted chef, plans to bring his Bondir restaurant to the suburbs. The restaurant, which will share a name with Bond’s poplar Cambridge eatery, will be located at 24 Walden St., former home to the Walden Grill.

According to The Restaurant Hub, a food blog on Boston.com, preparations have begun and Bond is eyeing an early fall opening for Bondir Concord.

“Our little farm garden has had its first pick last week, so I’m excited about that,” Bond reportedly said last month in an email to Restaurant Hub.

If it’s anything like Bondir in Cambridge, the upcoming Concord restaurant will feature sustainable American cuisine prepared with a melding of traditional and modern techniques.

Bondir’s menu changes daily, according to the restaurant’s website, and features dishes designed around locally sourced, interesting items, like a warthog wheat rigatoni or Concord chicken galatine

Patch reached out to Bondir for more on the plans for the Concord restaurant. We’ll post that information as it becomes available.
