Goodbye, Dabblers

After three years, the West Concord hobby shop is going out of business.

Dabblers, the West Concord hobby shop that opened three years ago, plans to close by the end of the month.

A colorful shop on Commonwealth Avenue, Dabblers combined arts, crafts and educational inventory with a cafe. However, the classes, crafts and snacks weren't enough to keep the business viable, according to a post on the shop's Facebook page

The post, which announces that Dabblers will be closing by the end of December, invites locals do drop by to say "Goodbye" and do some early holiday shopping as everything in the store is on sale.

The post, in full, says

It's been a wonderful three years. A lot has happened at Dabblers--birthdays, classes, demonstrations, events of all kinds. Our customers have learned new skills, made fused glass, knitted gloves, flown helicopters, carved wood. We have made many new friends among our amazing group of loyal customers. We are so grateful for your support. Although we will be closing by the end of November, this is your opportunity to save. Everything in the store is on sale. We hope you will stop in and do some early Christmas shopping while you say goodbye to us. Remember, there's still something happening at Dabblers!
