High-quality coffee can be a labor of love, so it’s fitting
that Haute Coffee is brewing up to a post-Labor Day opening.
After receiving a common victualler’s license from the Board of Selectmen on Aug. 19, Haute Coffee has deliveries and inspections lined up for next week and hopes to open early next month on Walden Street in Concord.
“We’re feeling great,” said Rob Scott, who’ll be opening the business with his wife, Kimberly. ““We’re just really excited to get past the construction phase and on to the customer-facing phase.”
They’ll be picking a tea provider this week, and otherwise have all of their vendors locked down – like Counter Culture Coffee beans and Iggy’s croissants, for example.
After moving to Concord from Las Vegas, the Scotts hope that Haute Coffee will help share their passion for high-quality coffee with the suburbs of Middlesex County.
Located in Comella’s the former home of Comella’s,e back by the municipal lot off Walden Street, Haute Coffee will have seating for 19 and a takeout counter.
They’ll be grinding beans for pour over coffee in front of customers, hand-pulling espresso drinks and making all of their own syrups from scratch. In addition to high-quality caffeination, Haute Coffee will serve breakfast and lunch, including many baked goods which Kimberly plans make herself.
