What Business Should Move in to Replace Staples?

Let us know in the comments section below what you'd like to see come to town with the recent announcement that Staples is closing its Wilmington doors.

Staples is on its way out. So what should be on the way in?

With the confirmation on Wednesday that the local Staples will be among the 30 locations across North America that closes its doors, there is now an opening in the plaza on Main Street.

Coffman Realty, which leases out the Wilmington Staples location, told Patch the company is already in the process of finding a replacetment for Staples.

But in the meantime, we want your input on what you think should go there.

We've already had some suggestions on the Wilmington Patch Facebook page, including several residents who would like to see Trader Joe's move in.

So it's time for you to play community planner. What kind of business would be the best fit for what is a fairly large retail space? Is there a specific business you want to see join the business community?

Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below, and check back with Wilmington Patch for updates on what ends up coming to town.
