Cambridge BioMarketing Welcomes Blair Robertson, PhD as Chief Strategy Officer


 

 

Cambridge BioMarketing adds Concord resident Blair Robertson, PhD as Chief Strategy Officer, according to the independent agency's Chief Executive Officer, Maureen Franco. In this new position, Dr. Robertson will take on responsibility for leading the agency’s account management, as well as the clinical and digital strategy departments.

Dr. Robertson joins the agency from Cambrooke Inc. in Ayer, Mass. where he spent two years as Chief Commercial Officer responsible for all business operations in a competitive orphan marketplace. In his role, he led global marketing, communications, regulatory, distribution, sales, and medical affairs for all Cambrooke product lines for the phenylketonuria (PKU) community and other orphan metabolic conditions.

Previously, Dr. Robertson spent two years with Shire HGT as Senior Director, New Product Planning where he provided commercial leadership in early stage and new products, licensing, and M&A.  Leading up to this position, he served in multiple roles at Bayer Healthcare, including new product planning, strategic portfolio management, and global marketing. He began his career spending six years with Bayer and Abbott in a variety of increasingly senior medical affairs and marketing roles, both US and global.

 

Dr. Robertson attended undergraduate at the University of Otago in New Zealand, graduate at the University of Oxford in England and received his MBA Degree from the University of New Haven. Additionally he spent three years as an Assistant Professor at the University of South Alabama.
