HANDS-ON CONSTRUCTION Honored as Gold Remodeler by Eastern Mass. NARI

The Eastern Massachusetts Chapter of National Association of the Remodeling Industry (emNARI) recently named  Hands-On Construction of Concord, MA , 2013 Gold Contractor of the Year (CotY) in the Bathrooms Under $30,000 category of its annual awards competition.

This is the second year in a row that Hands-On Construction has won in this category.  The award-winning bathroom project converted a standard bath to a handicapped-accessible bath in a Concord residence.  Dark, small and awkward, this was the only bath available to the disabled homeowner and was also used by visitors to the home.  By replacing the tub with a curb-less shower, improving lighting and using a soft palette, the bath became fully wheelchair accessible and an attractive powder room for guests.

On hand to receive the award were (from left) Richard Warren, president of Hands-On; Radcliffe Richards, lead carpenter on the project; and Michael Wolfson, production manager for Hands-On.
