Exciting and Enticing Cuisine at The Elephant Walk

A cross-continent culinary experience.

Nestled among the pizza joints, convenience stores and assorted storefront businesses on Main Street in Waltham is The Elephant Walk.

The food at Elephant Walk is rich in originality and gusto, and not just for the sake of it.  The restaurant has been a Boston area gem for nearly 20 years, and for good reason.

The distinctive menu is presented in a straightforward way – showing the starters, soups, salads and entrees as Traditional Cambodian, Original Cambodian, or Original French. This is to say, the offerings are not exactly fusion, it is the chefs offering variety and demonstrating their extraordinary multi-continent cooking talents.   Straightforward as it is, work with your server.  The waitstaff is knowledgeable and courteous and will help you to narrow your selection as you provide some insights into your partiality for specific ingredients.  They will also delicately guide you to exceptional dishes you might otherwise pass up.   The gluten-free and vegan menus will please those with restricted diets.  Servers are well informed about the ingredients of each dish and can offer suitable substitutions and alternatives for those with other food allergies.
