A couple of theatrical productions, in addition to other family fun, top our list this week.

We've assembled a weekly calendar of kid-friendly activities and new places to try out with children.

Each week, we'll give you the info on the five best family activities or events for the week.

FAMILY BEST BETS OF THE WEEK

Where/When: Fenn School, 516 Monument St., Robb Hall, Thursday through Saturday, 7 p.m.

Why Go: Enjoy one of Broadway’s longest running shows, presented jointly by The Fenn School and Nashoba Brooks School, showcasing local students.

Pricing: Tickets are $8, available at each of the schools front desk, at door if any tickets remaining.

Where/When: Concord Youth Theatre, 50 Beharrell St, Friday, 7:30 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Why Go: Enjoy this production with family and friends, while you support local theatre. This event is recommended for ages four and older.

Where/When:  Concord Scout House, 74 Walden Street, Sunday, 2- 4 p.m.

Why Go: Participatory folk dancing for the whole family, ages five and up.

Pricing: $5 per person, $25 family max. Bring clean shoes to dance in.

Where/When:   Friends of the Performing Arts, 51 Walden St., Saturday, 8 p.m.

Why Go: Enjoy live local entertainment, “New & Blue," a mix of recent pieces for concert band and jazz-influenced selections.

Pricing: $15 each ($5 for students and seniors)

Where/When: Concord Carlisle Regional High School, 500 Walden Street, Friday and Saturday, 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, 2:30 p.m.

Why go: Where can you see local girls in pearls and local boys in lederhosen? Support the local high school drama program at this production.

Pricing: Tickets are $12 for students and seniors and $17 for adults. Tickets can be purchased at www.ticketstage.com and will also be sold at the door.
