Five Things: An Artists Reception and a Citizen Survey

A quick look at what you need to see, do and know today in Concord.

1. Photography Show Artist-Public Reception: There's a reception from 5:30 to 7 p.m. this evening at Nashoba Brook Bakery for a new exhibit of fine arts photographs by Garry D Harley showing in November and December at the bakery's community gallery.

2. Citizen Survey: The town has begun its bi-annual telephone survey, done to determine the opinion of residents about how well the town is providing programs and services. According Concord's town webiste, the town has contracted with Pacific Market Research to do the actual calling of 375 randomly-selected residents for the survey, which takes about 15 minutes to complete and the responses are anonymous. Results should be available by the end of December.

3. Today in Public Meetings: According to the town website, there are no public meetings posted for today.

5. Sunny Day, Clear Night: Should be mostly sunny today, with a high around 50, according to the National Weather Service, which predicts a mostly clear evening with a low of around 29.
