Five Things: Movies, Music and More

A quick look at what you need to see, do and know on Jan. 25 in Concord.

1. Friday Flicks @ Fowler: This Friday film series brings unique, critically-acclaimed foreign films to the Fowler branch of the Concord Free Public Library. This week's selection is the Japanese film "Still Walking." All films are free, but seating is limited, so get there early – doors open at 6:30. 2. Today in Public Meetings: According to the town website, the only public meeting posted for today is the Middle School SAC at 7:15 a.m. at Sanborn School.

3. A Musical Tribute To Rock Guitar Heroes: At 8 p.m. tonight at the Colonial Inn, the Workingman's Band will perform a repertoire of popular classic pop and rock hits from legendary stars as Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Rivers, Rolling Stones, the Kinks and Beatles.

5. Some Snow Tonight? Expecting increasing clouds today, with a high 20, according to the National Weather Service, which predicts a cloudy evening with snow likely and a low of 13.
