Five Things: A Student Program, 'Once On This Island' and More

A quick look at what you need to see, do and know on Jan. 11 in Concord.

1. CCHS Information Program for Independent School Students: Any 8th or 9th grade independent school students living in the towns of Concord or Carlisle are invited for a tour and info session at 9:30 a.m. this morning at Concord-Carlisle High School. This program is only for students planning on enrolling at CCHS for the fall of 2013.

2. Today in Public Meetings: According to the town website, there are no public meetings posted for today.

3. Once on This Island: Concord Youth Theatre's performances of Once on This Island begin at 7:30 p.m. tonight at the Concord Museum. Tickets are $13, but seating is limited, so purchase your tickets in advance by going to www.concordyouththeatre.org.

4. Like Us on Facebook: For even more information and engagement, like Concord Patch on Facebook. Over there, we'll be asking questions, looking for feedback and continuing the conversation with the Concord community. See you soon!

5. Showers Maybe: Should stay warm despite the chance of showers, with highs in the low 40s, according to the National Weather Service, which predicts rain overnight with a low of 34.
