Five Things: A Student Program, 'Once On This Island' and More

A quick look at what you need to see, do and know on Jan. 11 in Concord.

1. CCHS Information Program for Independent School Students: Any 8th or 9th grade independent school students living in the towns of Concord or Carlisle are invited for a tour and info session at 9:30 a.m. this morning at Concord-Carlisle High School. This program is only for students planning on enrolling at CCHS for the fall of 2013.

2. Today in Public Meetings: According to the town website, there are no public meetings posted for today.

3. Once on This Island: Concord Youth Theatre's performances of Once on This Island begin at 7:30 p.m. tonight at the Concord Museum. Tickets are $13, but seating is limited, so purchase your tickets in advance by going to www.concordyouththeatre.org.

5. Showers Maybe: Should stay warm despite the chance of showers, with highs in the low 40s, according to the National Weather Service, which predicts rain overnight with a low of 34.
