Five Things: Human Rights Breakfast, BOS and More

A quick look at what you need to see, do and know Dec. 3 in Concord.

1. Human Rights Breakfast:The Concord-Carlisle Human Rights Council has chosen Communities For Restorative Justice as the winner of this years Climate for Freedom Award, which will be presneted at the annual Human Rights Breakfast at 7:30 a.m. this morning at the Trinitarian Congregational Church.

2. BOS Meet Tonight: The Board of Selectmen are scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. tonight at the Town House and its agenda includes a discussion of Town Clerk fee increases, a landfill solar discussion a report on public housing reform and regionalization and a discussion of a request for a home rule petition to add an additional liquor license.

3. Puzzles & Games at Barefoot Books: At 11 a.m. this morning at Barefoot Books on Thoreau Street, oddlers and preschoolers can engage with new friends in some fun puzzles, or try their hand at co-operative games for kids.

5. This Doesn't Feel Like December: Should be sunny and warm today, with a high of 55, according to the National Weather Service, which predicts a bit of patchy fog overnight, with a low of 37.
