Five Things: Mardi Gras, the Gospel of Luke, Meetings and More

A quick look at what you need to see, do and know on Feb. 12 in Concord.

1. Fat Tuesday Celebration: At 8 p.m. tonight at the Colonial Inn, celebrate Mardi Gras with Hatrack Gallagher and the Second Line Swamp Rockers.

2. Today in Public Meetings: According to the town website, public meetings posted for today include the Hugh Cargill Trust at 9:15 a.m., the Council on Aging at 5:30 p.m. and the Concord Public School Committee at 6:30 p.m.

3. Understanding The Gospel of Luke: Holy Family Parish has announced an upcoming adult faith formation course: The Gospel of Luke. The talks will be held from 7:30 tin the lower level of the Parish Office building, which is at 55 Church St. in West Concord. A donation of $5 to $10 per session is deeply appreciated.
