Five Things: Staging a Home to Sell, Vatican II Revisited Series Continues

A quick look at what you need to see, do and know on Feb. 28 in Concord.

1. How to Prepare Your Home for the Market: At 7 p.m. tonight at Concord-Carlisle High School, Peggy Yalman, a top producing agent at Coldwell Banker in Concord, with the help of a local stager, will provide a lot of hints on how to get your house ready to sell in today's market.

2. Today In Public Meetings: According to the town website, public meetings posted for today include the Historical Commission at 7 p.m., the Board of Assessors at 7 p.m., the Zoning Board of Appeals at 7:30 p.m. and the Agricultural Committee at 7:30 p.m.

3. Vatican II Revisited: The Church: At 7:30 p.m. tonight, Holy Family Parish will host the Rev Paul Ritt at the Parish Center at 55 Church St. in West Concord as part of the year-long program exploring the documents and meaning of the Second Vatican Council. In this session, Father Ritt will address church from a pastoral perspective as presented in the Council’s pastoral constitution on the Church, Gaudium et Spes.

5. Warmer, but Likely with Some Rain/Snow: There's a good chance we'll see more precipitation today, with a rain/snow mix likely as daytime temps get up around 47, according to the National Weather Service, which predicts more of the same overnight, but with a low of 30.
