Five Things: Storytime with a Police Officer, CPC Meets and More

A quick look at what you need to see, do and know on Dec. 10 in Concord.

1. Police Officer To Read at Storytime: Officer Sylvia Toumayan, CPD's K-9 officer, will be the guest reader at storytime at 10 a.m. this morning at the Concord Free Public Library. Children ages 3 and older are invited to hear Officer Toumayan read Officer Buckle And Gloria by Peggy Rathmann, and then they will meet Charik, Concord’s K-9 handled by Officer Toumayan.

2. Community Preservation Committee Meets Tonight: Meeting at 7:30 p.m. tonight at 141 Keyes Road, the CPC's agenda includes a review and approval of draft recommendations, a review and vote of draft project conditions, a review of a draft warrant article for 2013's annual Town Meeting and a review of a draft annual report.

5. Wet and Warm: Patchy fog and probably showers are in the forecast, along with a high of 60, according to the National Weather Service, which predicts a mostly cloudy night with more rain and a low of 41.
