Police Logs for June 4 and June 5

All information supplied by the Concord Police Department. These do not indicate a conviction.

 

Monday, June 4

3:31 a.m.: Man tried to get a room at the Best Western on Elm Street produced two credit cards, which were declined. Man left to find cash for the room on foot. Police attempted to find this man, but were unsuccessful.

5:50 a.m.: Reports of a disabled vehicle on the Concord Turnpike near Old Road to Nine Acres.

7:48 a.m.: Reports of a disabled vehicle at 1400 Lowell Road.

11:51 a.m.: Someone came into the station to drop off a pair of Volvo keys they had found in the parking lot behind Comella’s.

12:31 p.m.: Report of school busses not stopping for for stop signs. The head of transportation will talk with the drivers.

1:13 p.m.: A Saturn and a Toyota Corolla were involved in an accident near 40 Stow St. Papers were exchanged, minimal damage to vehicles.

3:08 p.m.: Report of a vehicle running a red light near 430 Old Bedford Rd.and 770 Bedford St.  The police were unable to locate this driver.

4:39 p.m.: Motorcyclist reported a woman in a red sedan tailgating him and beeping her horn at him on Route 2 West.

8:34 p.m.: Report of a door left open at a house on Hill Street. No one was home, so the caller secured the door.

11:27 p.m.: Strange noises, like a muffled cough, reported in the down stairs of a house on Lowell Road. Police could not locate anyone in the area.

 

Tuesday, June 5 

4:15 a.m.: Report of a tree down near 445 Lowell Rd. This resulted in negative findings.

4:35 a.m.: Two stray golden retrievers found on Lowell Road.

7:27 a.m.: Reports of a deer injured by a vehicle on Sudbury Road. The police were unable to locate the vehicle or the deer.

8:26 a.m.: Reports of a vehicle parked in front of 1264 Main St. The vehicle was parked there legally.

1:12 p.m.: Vehicle stopped near 145 Nashatuc Rd. and 1 Musketaquid Rd.

2:34 p.m.: Lost cat reported near 54 Ash St.

5:17 p.m.: Reports of driver crossing the double yellow line near Walden Street.

5:28 p.m.: Reports of loose dog near Balls Hill Road by Monument Street.

6:41 p.m.: Report of dead animal on property near 319 Sudbury Rd. Officer reports dead deer by wood line.
