Concord and Carlisle, it seems, are hungry for Girl Scout cookies. And locals will get their fix -- and more, possibly -- next week, when a truckload of more than 14,000 boxes of cookies will roll into the Concord Scout House next Monday, Feb. 4.
According to a press release, 14,538 boxes of cookies will arrive in town next week, the massive amount of cookies reflecting the goal-setting, decision-making, money management and people skills exemplified by the more than 400 Girl Scouts across more than 35 troops in Concord and Carlisle.
That said, if you haven't yet ordered your Girl Scout cookies, there will be ample opportunity. From the press release:
If you haven’t ordered a box of cookies yet, don’t worry! Booth sales are still happening until March. For Concord and Carlisle booth sales, check the booth sale calendar on our website http://www.ccgirlscouts.org/home/cookie-connection/booth-sales. Be sure to stock up on Thin Mints, Caramel deLites, Peanut Butter Patties, Shortbread, Peanut Butter Sandwiches, Lemonades, Thanks-A-Lot and the new cookie this season, Mango Cremes. America’s favorite cookies are only available until March 12 and only through Girl Scouts!
