1st Annual Minute Man Arc Transition Conference and Fair

Join Minute Man Arc on April 5, 2014 for the first annual "Transition Conference and Fair." This event is for parents/guardians who are helping their loved ones with disabilities to achieve a smooth transition from school into the adult world. We will be offering three workshops that will address issues facing your families. Organizations that provide day program options (vocational and day habilitation), recreational opportunities, legal and financial services, residential choices, etc. will be represented that day.

How Do We Get There?

Adult Family Care, Section 8, Shared Living
-Steven Bouffard, Manager of the Adult Family Care, Shared Living and Independent Living programs at Minute Man Arc

Department of Developmental Disabilities and Mass Rehabilitaiton Commission: Chapter 688; services provided; eligibility requirements; differences between the agencies, etc.
-DDS Central Middlesex Area Director, Nancy Donovan, Mass Rehab Senior Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor, Lowell Area office

Refreshments will be available and we will give you ample time to ask questions and speak to the people whose organizations will be participating.
