4 Part Parent Education Series on "Fostering Self Reliance in Our Young Children"

The Center for Parents and Teachers is offering this 4 part series for parents of young children (ages preschool through grade 1). This program will provide a perspective on why the development of self-reliance is so important for a child's success in school -- and in all areas of life.  By participating in this 4 part series parents will gain more confidence in their parenting skills to elicit their child's cooperation and initiative.  Parents will be able to establish realistic expectations about their child, create discipline strategies that foster self-reliance and understand better what motivates their child's behavior.   It is being led by popular and effective workshop facilitator, Patricia Marquis, LICSW.  Spots are very limited.  If interested email us at cpt@colonial.net and type "Fostering Self Reliance" in the subject line.  The fee is $120 for all 4 sessions.  The workshop takes place Monday evenings from 7 to 8:30 PM for 4 weeks, skipping Nov 11 which is Veteran's Day.  Contact us quickly to find out if there is still room for you to attend!
