Author talk: Colin Woodard

This January Carlisle will be buzzing about one book: American Nations, by Colin Woodard. The Washington Post called American Nations "[a] compelling and informative attempt to make sense of the regional divides in North America in general and this country in particular…”, and discussions are sure to be lively!

For the first time, Carlisle will welcome the author of our Carlisle Reads choice. Join Colin Woodard for a talk on the American Nations, followed by a Q&A session. Sunday, January 26, 2 p.m., at the Carlisle Public School Corey Auditorium. Free; registration recommended at 978-369-4898. Sponsored by Friends of Gleason Public Library; more info on all events at http://www.gleasonlibrary.org.
