Riverfest - Celebrate in Concord

Don’t miss the 13th Annual RiverFest—an opportunity to enjoy a full weekend of activities celebrating our local federally-designated Wild & Scenic Rivers, the Sudbury, Assabet, and Concord!  Forty-five events in nine communities will be free and open to all who want to experience the beautiful rivers flowing through our communities. 

Celebrate in Concord:

  • Walk along the Assabet River with the Concord Land Conservation Trust from 9 - 10:30am.  Meet at the corner of Nashawtuc and Musketaquid Roads;
  • Explore the recently opened Emerson Thoreau Amble on a guided natural history tour of Mill Brook at 10 am.  Call 978-318-3285 to sign up.
  • Enjoy a 1-hour pontoon boat tour on the Sudbury River. South Bridge Boat House at 2 pm. To book your seat in advance, call 978-371-1785;
  • Join a ranger at the Old North Bridget to learn about the opening battle of the American Revolution, 2:30 pm
