Celebrate the Season with Mantels, Mistletoe & More

Van Millwork Event Featuring Concord Designer Offers Inspiration, Ideas and Resources as well as a Chance to Help Local Children’s Organizations

‘Tis certainly the season to deck the halls with boughs of holly.  Van Millwork, however, is doing more than that.

The area’s leading supplier of interior millwork to residential home-builders is presenting a décor and design exhibition featuring the talents of seven local design professionals, each of whom have volunteered their services to decorate mantels in the company’s award-winning 4,000 square-foot-showroom.

“We are uniquely qualified to present the ‘Mantels & Mistletoe’ event as our showroom actually features individually-themed suites representing differing architectural periods and styles,” said Jon Van of Van Millwork.  “Each interior designer will showcase a room and create a beautiful mantel all dressed up for the holidays.  Visitors can discover new ideas and gather inspiration for their own homes.”

Van added, that in keeping with the holiday theme, the event is more than just a showcase.  “The holidays are a time to be thankful and give back to the community.  Our event will benefit several area organizations dedicated to improving the lives of young children and their families,” he said.  “We are making a substantial contribution to each.”

Attendees are asked to consider bringing a new, unwrapped toy or article of clothing for infants through age 14.  Monetary contributions are also welcome.  All donations will benefit Horizons for Homeless Children, Cradles to Crayons and The Italian Home for Children.

Van Millwork has secured the services of some of the area’s top designers, including Cebula Design, Holly Joe Interiors, Hope Beckman Design, MKH Deign, Michael Barnum Studio, Capello Design and Wilson Kelsey Design.

“All of our design professionals are donating their time and talent to Mantels & Mistletoe so that our selected children’s groups will get the full benefit of all donations,” said Van.

The event will be open December 3- 20, 2013 every Tuesday – Saturday from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm at the Van Millwork Needham Showroom at 65 Crawford Street.  For more information, visit Van Millwork’s Facebook page athttps://www.facebook.com/van.millwork or call the showroom directly at 781/444-8744.
