Concord Orchestra Pops

The Concord Orchestra, conducted by
Richard Pittman, presents its annual pops concert.  This year’s theme is “Eat drink, and be Merry,”
featuring music of celebration.   New
York jazz vocalist Marlene VerPlanck will perform songs from the great American
songbook by Cole Porter as well as bossa nova songs by Brazilian song writer
Antonio Carlos Jobim.  Barbara Shinn-Cunningham, English horn soloist, will perform The Swan of Tuonela by Jean Sibelius. 
 As always, there will be table seating with
refreshments and cash bar.  Sunday matinee at 2:00 pm. Tickets
are $30 for adults, $25 for senior citizens and $10 for students. Groups of
twelve or more receive a discount.  For
