Concord Women's Chorus Holiday Concert - "Winter's Promise"

This joyous concert of seasonal works will feature a rare 18th century chamber work by composer
Baldassare Galuppi. “Dixit Dominus” was written specifically for women’s
voices, a rarity in Galuppi’s time. Other seasonal offerings will
include  ”Old English Carols” by Holst, Elgar’s “The Snow”, Gjeilo’s
hauting and beautiful “Tundra”, and works by Faure, DeCormier and Halley. This
popular holiday program concludes with CWC’s annual audience carol sing. Tickets for the concert are $25 for adults, $20 for students and seniors, and $5 for children 12 and under. Advanced purchase of tickets is encouraged because of the popularity of this holiday concert. Tickets can be ordered on CWC’s website, www.concordwomenschorus.org. Snow date: Sunday, Dec. 22, 7:00 pm
