Concord Curators/Concord Reads

Join Concord Museum Curator David Wood and Leslie Perrin  Wilson, Curator of the William Munroe Special Collections Concord Free Public  Library, for a book discussion of the Concord Reads selection, Second  Nature: A Gardener’s Education (1991), by Michael Pollan.

With a passionate  and eloquent argument for reconceiving our relationship with nature, Pollan  examines the troubled borders between nature and contemporary life.  After  the discussion, visit the Concord Museum's Emerson Study, Thoreau Gallery, and the agriculture  exhibition with the curators to better understand the issues the book  discusses. Saturday, February 9; 11:00 a.m.; Free; at the Concord Museum.

The Concord Free Public Library, Concord Museum, and ConcordCAN are collaborating to present Concord Reads:  About Food and Farming, a six-month program of reading, discussions, exhibitions, and events.
