Guest Reader at Storytime

Author Terry Golson will be the guest reader at storytime at the Concord Free Public Library, 129 Main Street, Concord on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 10 am. She will read her book Tillie Lays an Egg, a story about white-feathered Tillie, a hen that prefers using a variety of places to lay her eggs—the garden, the front porch, the kitchen, and even the laundry basket instead of laying them with the rest of the hens.  One of Terry’s hens will make a guest appearance! The storytime is perfect for children age 3 and up and will also be of interest to older children who enjoy learning about eggs, feathers and chickens. The program is part of the Library’s and Concord Museum’s  co-sponsored program Concord Reads:  About Farming and Food.  For information about this or any of the Library’s programs visit www.concordlibrary.org.
