A song melody can strike a chord with a listener, and experiencing a great bottle of wine can evoke similar feelings. Music and wine fans alike will connect while attending the first Music and Wine Lecture Series, hosted by The Concord Conservatory of Music, on Thursday, February 28th at 7:00 pm at the Wheelhouse, 33 Bradford Street in West Concord.
The wines of Burgundy will be presented in the lecture and tasting by Bill Nesto, Master of Wine, and Senior Lecture at Boston University’s Metropolitan College. The wine will be paired with music by French composers performed by CCM Faculty members Lorna Henderson, vocals and Paul Jacobs, piano.
Attendees will take part in a tasting of the a variety of wines from this iconic region of France which produces wines that have become the standard to which most others are compared.
