Roseanne Montillo presents "The Lady and Her Monsters"

Please join us at the Bookshop on Thursday, February 7th at 7 pm as we welcome Roseanne Montillo, discussing and signing her book, The Lady and Her Monsters: A Tale of Dissections, Real-Life Dr. Frankensteins and the Creation of Mary Shelley's Masterpiece.

In The Lady and Her Monsters, Roseanne Montillo brings to life the fascinating times, startling science, and real-life horrors behind Mary Shelley’s gothic masterpiece, Frankenstein. This is all set against the backdrop of the provocative loves and Romantic ideals of Shelley, her husband Percy, and Lord Byron, offering a shocking, but rich and revealing look into the creation of this horror classic.

Roseanne Montillo holds her MFA from Emerson College, where she teaches courses on literature, in addition to courses at Lesley and Tufts Universities. She lives in Boston.
