"Good Grief" Bereavement Support begins March 9 — Register by Feb 28

Losing a loved one to death is one of the most painful experiences we can have. It helps to share that pain with people who understand what you're going through. A support group is an effective way to help the bereaved begin to heal because it offers a safe place for people to do the work of mourning.

Trinity Episcopal Church, 81 Elm Street in Concord, will offer a new bereavement support group on Sunday afternoons from 3-4:30 pm, beginning on Sunday, March 9, 2014. This will be a spiritual environment where individuals can share their feelings and experiences in a caring and confidential setting while receiving information about the grief process. Led by Buck Grace and Anne Lynch, the group will meet for five weekly sessions through April 6. This is a free program; please register by February 28 so we’ll know how many to plan for.

If interested in joining us, or if you have questions, please contact Anne Lynch at 978-369-3715. This will be a "closed" group after the first session; no additional people will be able to join after the March 9 starting date. Participants are expected to make every effort to attend all five sessions.
